The Supervisory Board of Royal Wessanen nv and Mr Frans Eelkman Rooda have
agreed in mutual consultation that Mr Eelkman Rooda will step down as CFO of
Wessanen on or before 31 May 2011. In the intervening period, the Supervisory
Board of Wessanen will search for a successor of Mr Eelkman Rooda.
During the last two years, Wessanen has gone through an accelerated
transformation process and made significant steps in the past year with the
roadmap to reshape the Company. Major steps in this process have been completed
and, going forward, Wessanen will focus on the organic food market in Europe.
In light of this, the company and Frans Eelkman Rooda jointly have concluded
that a change in financial leadership in 2011 would be appropriate.
Mr Frans Koffrie, Chairman of the Supervisory Board: “In the past years,

Board and the CEO, I would like to thank Frans Eelkman Rooda for his valuable
contribution to this transformation process since joining the company in June
2008.”
Settlement of the remaining term of Mr Eelkman Rooda’s employment agreement
will fall within the guidelines of the Dutch Corporate Governance Code.
